RESCUE PROJECT of the Tennis Contacts system et alia
for continued rewarding community co-operation
campaign of 2024

PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE 100 TENNIS PLAYER WOOD COMMUNITY OF A CAREFUL SELECTION OF PERSONALITIES IN AND OUT OF TALLINN TECH

Membership in the 100 Tennis Player Wood community or just Tennis Contacts for short referring to the underlying system is available for Tallinn Tech students and faculty who possess the characteristics of a suitable community member. Successfully maintaining clay courts as a team in a potentially hostile environment involves the qualities of being helpful, considerate and potentially showing at least a little bit of character against paid jerks who are aggressively looking for opportunities to steal the results of community work. In other words, we are interested in trustful mutual communication and new players in our carefully selected community of recreational tennis players whom Fair Play motivates to fight when it really matters:

Fair Play vs winning ugly [2.44-5.36]

If you feel that to some extent you possess these qualities then it might be a very good idea to write to us at tennisekontakt (at) lists ttu ee, provide your full name, student ID or occupation at Tallinn University of Technology, and describe your level of play. NB! This email address should be used within the university only.

Occasionally we might accept people from outside the university, too. We try to keep the ratio of Tallinn Tech people vs guests at 60-50 and the number of players here at 100 max as there aren't that many tennis courts available at times suitable enough for us all year round in or near Tallinn anyway and also the administrative overhead can easily become too much to handle. Our experience so far shows that reasonable people seriously interested in tennis will get admitted and have a good time here even if they come from outside the university.

Purely administrative personnel from Tallinn Tech or elsewhere on the other hand have a very low chance of getting admitted and after what we have experienced during the last years all over the world, it would probably be a lot better for everyone if people like that mastered a more respectable profession or found another community. You can talk to the multitalented administrative personnel of our co-operation partners at Airok TC, Kadriorg TC, Kalev TC, Laagri TC, Peetri TC, the guy taking care of the clay court in Pirita, Viimsi TC (FV Rackets, not the other hall in Viimsi), Tallink TC or Saku TC if you are very interested in joining us and have them forward your email with the description of your motivation and level of play to us. It has successfully happened before.
